Mercedes-Benz Motorcycles! It's Buying Stakes in MV Agusta

The famous German automaker Mercedes-Benz has just confirmed the news that it'll be buying 25% stakes in the world's leading motorcycle brand MV Agusta that will allow it to sit with the board of directors for sure. However, while it comes to developing the bikes with Mercedes-Benz printed on them, the company has no such intentions, at least not for now. It's been the second time in the recent times that Mercedes or its parent group Daimler has purchased stakes in another automobile company. Earlier, Daimler purchased some shares in Aston Martin and has denied the recent rumors of purchasing more stakes or takeover of the Aston Martin.

However, the first bike deal of Mercedes-Benz was with Ducati in 2010, but it didn't last long and was sold to the Audi 2 years later after the purchase. But this time, the company is looking more confident as the CEO Tobias Moers said that “ In MV Agusta,we have found the perfect two-wheel partner for Mercedes-Benz. This manufacturer with long tradition and Mercedes-Benz AMG are connected not only by a long and successful racing history, but also by shared values and goals for the future.”

 Mercedes-MV Agusta Deal

Now by the above statement, it seems that the Mercedes-Benz is trying to bring some new changes in its AMG racing class with the collaboration of MV Agusta and in return, the company will help the bike manufacturer grow in the international market and expand their business or this is what both companies are claiming about their multi-million dollar deal.
