Mercedes CLS Facelift and E400 Cabriolet to Launch on March 25

The largest German luxury car producer has ratified that it will launch its CLS250 CDI facelift as well as the E400 Cabriolet in the Indian market on March 25. Both of these models will be arriving in our country via a CBU route with captivating body designs and powerful mechanical features. Firstly, start discussing about the CLS facelift, it would introduce with the CLS250 CDI diesel variant and will be powered by a 2,143 cc four-cylinder engine to produce power of 200 bhp and the astounding torque of 500 Nm.

This mill will get coupled with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox for sending the generated power to its wheels. Design wise, the four-door coupe will include new headlights alongside optional Multibeam LED headlights, stunning front bumper and A Class inspired diamond grille. Inside, there would be latest three-spoke steering wheel, 8-inch display and overall interior will have enticing theme with fresh finishing. Notably, this updated model would give a straight competition to the BMW 6 Series and Audi A7.

Mercedes E400 Cabriolet

Coming to the Mercedes E400 Cabriolet, it will receive a 3,498 cc V6 turbo petrol engine to churn out power of 333 hp between 5,250 to 6,000 rpm as well as the impressive torque of 480 Nm between 1,200 to 4,000 rpm. Moreover, the powertrain would be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and can be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 503 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.
