Mercedes-Benz has disclosed the base variant of its E Class with the name of E180 long wheelbase at the ongoing Guangzhou Auto Show 2014. The powertrains of the vehicle is inspired by the E200L variant and it gets the same 2.0 liter four cylinder turbocharged petrol to pump out the power of 170 hp as well as the torque of 280 Nm, while E200L produces output of 184 hp and 300 Nm. The rear wheels will be driven by the powerful 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission system. Within 9.6 seconds, the carriage can speed up to 100 km/h from the stand still position alongside the appreciable top speed of 225 km/h.
Mercedes E180L will have the capacity to cover the distance of 14.92 km under the consumption of only 1 liter of fuel. Apart from the mechanical terms, the vehicle also includes the royal outlook and the classy cabin with the headlights comprising normal halogen units and inside, there are automatic climate control, the tremendous music system as well as the Mercedes’s COMAND infotainment system will be available.
