The sister company of BMW, that is Mini which had lunched its first car in India not so long back has now launched another car to expand its portfolio in niche-specific luxury hatch segment with Cooper S. The car is 3 Door and most powerful in India with its 2.0 Litre 4-Cylinder Twin turbocharged engine which is good to produce 192 bhp power and 280 Nm torque. It's mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, specially for India and is able to take the car to 100 km/h from none in about 7 seconds with top speed 233 km/h and very handy claimed fuel efficiency of around 18.2 km/l. Well, that number is surely encouraging for the potential buyers.
Customizing this car are 11 exteriors shades with its patent black lines on the bonnet with options available for wheels, roof, decals and interiors as well. The car is also a bit bigger in size with 3,821 mm length, 1,414 mm height and 1,727 mm wide with 2,495 mm wheelbase as well.
The boot volume of the car has been increased by 51 Liter to make it 211 Liters and if the rear seats are folded down, it goes up to 7.1 Liters. The price of this car is INR 34.65 Lac Ex-Showroom, New Delhi, which makes it luxurious choice if made though.
