Do you remember the Tokyo Motor Show 2013 when the world's famous car company, Mitsubishi launched its XR-PHEV hybrid vehicle as a concept? Well, if you don't, then here is the evolved version which has been teased again. The car seems promising to replace the Lancer Evolution according to the company's strategical plans. Now, talking about the original concept car displayed back in 2013 had a 1.1 Litre 3-cylinder engine with an electric motor and the system was delivering around 134 bhp power, but with this so-called new version of the car, Mitsubishi might improve the power quotient comprehensively in it. The car will be now getting debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 foe the world-wide public.
Coming to the design part, this new evolved version will be having bold design aspects, LED headlight and others as well. The company also stated “A powerful embodiment of its next generation 2WD plug-in hybrid electric technology as well as its bold design renaissance, all contained in Mitsubishi Motors' favorite format of the SUV crossover.”
Well, everything about this version is very promising and as the market of these electric vehicles is growing all over the world and Mitsubishi seems to cash the opportunity with both hands.
