MV Agusta May Kick off Indian Operations on 9 May 2016

The prominent Italian outfit, MV Agusta may commence its operations in India from the coming week. Incorporation with Kinetic Group, MV Agusta will formally launch its operations in Pune on May 9, 2016 and will uses the sales and service network of Kinetic Group which is also known as Motoroyale. Here MV Agusta will put in front the whole range of its motorcycles for the Indian portfolio. The Indian MV Agusta line up will be the F3 800, Brutale 1090, F4 and F4 RR.

MV Agusta recently besides being facing the financial crisis and dispute of its partnership with the Mercedes-AMG. Still, MV Agusta manages to grow 30 percent globally, in the past year and commence its India plan on time and hope to go ahead as per its schedule.

MV Agusta F3 800

Mr. Ajinkya Firodia, Managing Director, MV Agusta India, expressed its views about the company and for its future, to the carand bike.com, "The company is facing a liquidity crunch and investments are required in R&D, since these are high-end motorcycles and constant R&D and new product development for the future is always in the interest of a well-known motorcycle brand like MV Agusta. Fact of the matter is, the company still grew at 30 per cent, and we are extremely excited about the brand's prospects,"

MV Agusta F4 RR

As a part of the MV Agusta Indian range of motorcycles as we mentioned earlier, only the two models of the F4 series will be produced in India from the currently offered three model of the F4 series globally. While the other two popular models as the F4 RC and the Dragster will be available at the Indian shores on orders. The landing of the Brutale 800 in India, is still in doubt but hope to see its presence in the coming future.

The MV Agusta bikes will be produced in India via Motoroyale through Completely Built units (CBU), Semi Knocked Down kits (SKD) and Completely Knocked Down kits (CKD) for selling, marketing and for after sales support for MV Agusta bikes. The introduction of dealership in first phase will take place in Pune, Surat, Mumbai and Bangalore which will further extend to the Delhi and other cities in India in coming future.
