MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 and Lusso revealed ahead of EICMA

As the international motorcycle show is just around the corner, the two-wheeler maker has already started revealing their latest products. The Italian motorcycle maker has come up first with various models of the latest motorcycles. A day before yesterday, the firm has introduced two new sports motorcycles, which will be making their official appearance in the upcoming EICMA, 2014. And, this time the MV Agusta has unveiled a new sports touring motorcycle in two variants; Turismo Veloce 800 and Turismo Veloce Lusso. Both the sports tourer motorcycles will be going to launch in the first quarter of the coming year 2015.

Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso

The base model of MV Agusta's Turismo Veloce is built around a liquid-cooled, triple cylinder engine with an engine displacement of 798cc. The motor is capable to churn out a total power of 125BHP @ 11,600 RPM and a peak torque of 84Nm @ 8,600 RPM. Veloce has received a re-tuned engine, which was acquired by 675cc engine found in the F3 supersports motorcycle. The engine is mated to 6-speed transmission.

Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso

The riding and handling power have been taken care by telescopic front forks catered by Marzocchi and monoshocks at the rear served by Sachs and single-sided swingarm. The stopping power is maintained and catered by Brembo brakes along with Bosch ABS system.

Turismo Veloce 800

The Turismo Veloce 800 and Turismo Veloce Lusso, both will be featuring the very same technical specifications, but having little bit dissimilarities as well. The Turismo Veloce 800 is a Light-weight touring motorcycle, which has been specifically designed to provide comfortable riding. And, talking about the Turismo Veloce Lusso, it is a luxury model equipped with semi-active suspension, i.e. MVCSC (MV Agusta Chassis Stability Control) and the most attractive part is the panniers, having a loading capacity of 60-liter. Both the sports-touring motorcycles are expected to make their debut in the upcoming EICMA, 2014, which will be going to held in Milan, Italy.
