Without taking a pose, just after the launch of new gen A6 sedan, Audi is here to unveil the station wagon body style, the A6 Avant. The powertrain and design language of A6 Avant are the same like the A6 Sedan. It has a capacity of 565 litres storage which makes overall extension in length.
The A6 Avant is a good looking model with roofline extending crossing the C-pillar. The attached D-pillar reveals some extent of spoiler whereas the LED tail lights are just similar to the Sedan instead of change in body style. The chrome strip meeting the tail lights of the Avant is more appealing at the home. It also takes the same bumper as the Sedan.
Coming to the interior, it is relish as well. The rear seats in Avant can be fold up to 40:20:40 to enlarge the luggage space from the 565 litres to 1,680 litres as compared to Sedan. To make it more secure, the boot is well equipped with standard fitment of tension strap, hooks and net. The luggage compartment also comes with an optional load-securing kit along with
telescopic bar and strap.
It is powered by a 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engine along with a mild hybrid system as standard on both the sides. The engine comes mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission extending the power to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Expected Launch: The New Audi A6 Avant is expected to launch by end of this year.
