Honda Jazz All Set to Compete with Hyundai Elite i20

The new hatchback model Honda Jazz is all set to be launched on July, 8. This upcoming model will be re-introduced with certain improved features both in the exterior as well as interior portions. The previous version of this model was discontinued a few years ago. However, this time it is likely to return to the automobile market as a threat to models like Hyundai Elite i20, Fiat Punto and Volkswagen Polo. It will be interesting to see how this comeback model will be fighting with the already established and efficient models especially Hyundai Elite i20.

The fascia of the car flaunts a thick black coloured grille that is neatly chromed, headlights are swept backwards and the air dam highlights a honeycomb pattern. This model resembles to Honda City from the sides except for the newly added LED tail lamps. The cabin of new Honda Jazz boasts of an all black interior body with silver highlights. The infotainment facility is present with a 15 cm touchscreen with connectivity options like Bluetooth and Audio Streaming. There is also a navigation system, which is voice-based and automatic air conditioners. A new feature of Magic seats is also incorporated in this upcoming model.

The all new hatchback will be powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine generating 100 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque while the petrol variant will have a 1.2 litre petrol engine producing a power of 90 PS and torque of 110 Nm. There is a six-speed automatic transmission offered in the diesel variants while, for the petrol variant, a five-speed gear box is available.
