New Hero Hunk Spotted at The Dealership

The facelift version of Hero Hunk has been spotted at the dealership that seems ready for sale right now. A few days ago, the facelift version was caught in the camera during the test in few cosmetic updates. The new Hero Hunk is featured with updated headlight, new headlight cowl, new graphics, new blinkers and side stand indicator reminder. We have to wait for the official price of the new Hero Hunk that is on the verge of the launch. The Hero Motorcycle and Scooter India is working on the other facelift version that might be unveiled in the upcoming days or months. Moreover, recently, the company has launched the facelift version of Splendor Pro in the country at Rs. 46,850 (Ex. Showroom Delhi) that has also received some cosmetic updates only. Moreover, the new Hero Hunk will compete with the rivals of the segment that includes Bajaj Pulsar 150, Honda CB Unicorn 160 and Apache 160.

In terms of design and body cues, the new Hero Hunk looks very identical to its current running version. Apart from the few updates, the rest of features are remaining the same. The new Hero Hunk has received a crash guard and saree guard. The braking duties will be taken care by the same front disc and drum brake.

Moreover, the firm has not revealed any information yet about the technical specifications, but it is expected that the new version of Hunk will be slightly tweaked to produce the more power and torque than its current version. The current version is powered by the 149.2cc, four-stroke and single cylinder engine that returns 14.4 BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 12.80 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The engine is coupled with a five-speed transmission.

In the test mule, the gas charged shock absorbers have been seen to be installed with upside down forks that finished in the black color instead of the red, that is using in the currently running version. The new version might be received MRF tyres at the both end. Moreover, it is expected that the new Hero Hunk will be positioned below the newly launched Hero Xtreme Sports, whereas, the price of the new facelift version will be higher than the currently running version.
