The Duke of Cambridge, Prince Williams has something for motorcycles and the latest machine which was observed during his meet with the Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal at the Heads of Commonwealth Meeting 2018. The upcoming Royal Enfield 650 duo- the new Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental 650 which are brand’s flagship and lined up to mark their presence, manages to hold the attention of Prince Williams. The surfaced images on the Royal Enfield’s official Twitter handle demonstrates the same.
Earlier, the new Royal Enfield 650 duo has been previewed in front of the global audience at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan and later at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania in Goa. furthermore, the news is also around the corner, the India spec versions of both the trim will be equipped with top-shelf specs and features.
If the major aspect of Royal Enfield 650s, its all-new 650cc twin cylinder engine is considered, it is an air/oil-cooled, parallel twin unit that produces 47hp at 7100rpm and 52Nm at 4000rpm via a six-speed gearbox transmission. In addition to this, the transmission is also assisted by slip/assist clutch that offers seamless transmission. The stopping power for the vehicle comes from a 320mm disc upfront and a 240mm rear disc. The advanced safety of ABS will also be provided as a standard fitment.
