New Skoda Superb Estate Introduced with Innovative Storage Options

After being introduced online in the last month, the all new Skoda Superb Estate will land in the showrooms for sale in September. This upcoming model will offer more interior space and capacity as compared to the previous versions. The most noticeable change has been made in the boot capacity of this vehicle, which is 27 litres more than its predecessor making it 660 litres. When the seats are folded down, the total load capacity reaches to 1,950 litres. There is even a storage facility in the form of a coat shelf, present under the roller cover. This shelf can hold your items (say a jacket) keeping them wrinkle-free. Apart from this, three storage nets, four folding hooks and an LED removable torch are also present in the boot area. There is also a button for folding down the backrests.

There is a key-less lock and start system along with a 'virtual pedal', which can open electric tailgates simply by a foot moment. The new Superb Estate will be available in seven engine options including three TDI diesel units and four TSI petrol units. The base model will be powered by a 1.6 TDI diesel engine generating 120 Hp while the top range 2.0 TSI petrol model will generate a power of 280 Bhp.

The base model will feature 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, fog lights, parking sensors and dual-zone air-conditioning system. There will also be a touchscreen infotainment system, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and navigation facilities. Some safety features like Rear traffic alert, Blind Spot Detection, Traffic Assist, Park Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control will come standard in all the models. An autonomous emergency braking system will also be found along with multi-collision brake. This will automatically apply brakes after a collision so that another collision can be avoided.
