Maserati, the leading Italian car manufacturer unveiled its all new Black Ghibli Nerissimo at 2017 New York International Auto Show. The Italian car maker announced at the annual show, that a total number of 450 units have been manufactured of the model. ‘Maserati’, the word has been taken from an Italian expression, which means ‘extremely black’, and the company is well known for introducing luxurious as well as sports cars. From the images, it can be seen that Ghibli is blessed with a tastefully done black paint job. Ghibli, Ghibli S, Ghibli S Q4 are some of the special variants manufactured by Maserati.
Talking about the exteriors, the new Maserati Ghibli Nerissimo features a totally black colour scheme. Moreover, it is spruced with black door handles, 20-inch glossy black finish Urano wheels, black window trim and grille.
Inside the cabin, Maserati Ghibli Nerissimo packs black extended leather with red stitching, INOX sports pedals, sports seats, gearshift paddles and a sports steering vehicle as some of the highlighting features of it. Each Ghibli Nerissimo will carry badge which is located on the centre console and it is one of only 450 units produced.
Talking about the engine specifications, the Italian car manufacturer has been fitted a 3.0 V6 twin turbocharged litre engine which develops a 550 Nm of torque along with 398 bhp of maximum power. The motor of the car is paired with 8-speed ZF automatic transmission along with AWD (All Wheel Drive) option. The Maserati beast is capable of running at a speed of 0-100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 283 kmph.
All Maserati Ghibli variants have been equipped with front rear parking sensors and remote start, blind spot assist whereas the Ghibli S and S Q4 variants of Nerissimo comes equipped with Harman Kardon audio systems. At New York show 2017, the car manufacturer has presented its new offering in two new variants i.e, Luxury and Sport, which further enhance the standard features on every Maserati.
The Maserati Ghibli is already available in India and people are also expecting the availability of its Nerissimo edition, as its volumes are extremely limited. The Ghibli available in the country is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel motor, which is capable of churning out 272 bhp and 600 Nm of torque.
