Next Generation Audi A8 Spotted Testing; to Arrive in 2017

The next generation Audi A8 has been spotted testing on the road, which is said to be introduced in next year. It was confirmed by the company during its annual general meeting at Ingolstadt. In the meeting, Audi's CEO, Rupert Stadler announced that the car will come out in the market by 2017.

Meanwhile, some spy shots of the car have also been surfaced online. The spy shots of next generation A8 showed off the front fascia that is so much similar to the Audi Prologue Concept that was earlier showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. It includes a massive gaping grille and the fascia highlights a single frame, flanked by a pair of headlamps.



The new generation Audi A8 is stated to be the carmaker's first model that will be attached with piloted driving that stands for traffic-jam pilot system. It allows the car to operate steering itself at speed of up to 60 kmph. Furthermore, the automaker has also unveiled about the upcoming fully-electric product.



While the meeting, Mr. Rupert Stadler said, “Our model and technology initiative will ensure our growth of tomorrow. Electrification and digitisation represent an historic shift. We will play a large part in shaping this change and will thus further enhance our strong position.” At the same time company has also revealed of their further plan that claimed to launch over 20 new and updates model this year.
