Next generation Audi R8 Revealed Under Camouflage Before Geneva Launch

It was just a couple of days ago that we confirmed the launch of the next generation Audi R8 at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 and now the company has taken the European media for a roll in the car which was completely under the camouflage, but the technical details along with subtle interiors have been disclosed though. The car will be having a few tweaks in mechanical section with being lighter and stiffer as well. There will be 2 engine options available for the buyers that is regular V10 engine and v10 Plus as well. The plus variant will be the top spec version with around 70 hp more power in it.

The 5.2 Litre V10 naturally aspirated engine will be churning 601 bhp power and 559 Nm of torque, while the regular engine will produce 532 bhp power and 539 Nm torque. There would also be a new and standard 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system which will replace the viscous-coupling-equipped syncro four-wheel drive system for the multi-plate clutch system. Also, it'll be 66 KG lighter (V10 Plus) and hit the 100 km/h mark in just 3.2 seconds before achieving the top speed of 330 km/h.

The car has been built with aluminum-carbon chassis which has helped it to reduce weight and hit the better speed with acceleration as well. It's 4,444 mm in length, 1,944 mm wide and 1,242 mm tall in overall specification and people will be waiting to get a closer look at this runabout for sure.
