Next-generation Honda CR-V Spotted While Testing in Michigan

We have been curious about the fifth generation Honda CR-V after seeing the teaser images. But, Now the production model CR-V has been spied while testing in Michigan, USA. The forthcoming model is said to be bigger and bolder that the predecessor. Honda is looking positive to get into a tough competition within the auto sector.

As far as the design is concerned, the next-gen CR-V will be sleeker and modern than the existing model. The spy images clearly indicate that it is quite longer than the current model. If rumours turn true then it is likely to be a seven seater MPV. The liftgate appear streamlined with the extended tail light in the rear. The headlights in front also looks unique from its sedan siblings.

Under the hood, the new CR-V is likely to offer a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, the automaker may bring a plug-in hybrid variant in the near future. As per the reports, the next-gen CR-V is expected to be launched by mid 2017.
