Next Generation Porsche Panamera to be Unveiled on June 28

Finally, Porsche has come out with an official teaser image of its next generation Panamera four-door sports car that has been rumoured across the media channels. Instead of a rear profile of the car, the carmaker hasn't revealed much information. It looks like Porsche has merely hinted its valuable customers about its forthcoming model that will be launched soon in the market. It has suggested that the company will remove the veil from this model at a function in Berlin on June 28.

As you can scrutinize from the above shown pictures, a boot lid that is flanked by tail lamps clusters, which are joined together with LED strips carrying the signature Porsche lettering. The rear cluster looks so much identical to the ones from the latest generation 911 range of the cars.

Some spy shots have already been out on internet that had revealed much about its design as well as indicate about some interior features. With a new front end design, a lower roofline and a sleeker profile the new generation Panamera seems like more stylish than the regular one. Moreover, Porsche can attach a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system to the cabin. Besides, it may also replace its centre console layout, which currently runs in the 918 hypercar.

The upcoming Panamera is also reported to use the same Volkswaqgen's group MSB platform, which will also underpin the next phase Audi A8 and Bentley Continental. When it comes to power, it would continue to be powered by a range of petrol and diesel engine options as well as with hybrid unit. As the ongoing model, it should be offered with both 2WD and 4WD choices. We have not reached at any information about India bound variant, however it may appear soon after the global launch, which will happen sometime early next year.
