The automobile companies need to update their product timely so that they don't fade away from the market and other vehicles would fill up the spots. However, Toyota has other plans for Indian market its famous MPV Innova has been spotted testing on the roads with some modifications that would help the vehicle to maintain its sales volumes across the country. However, it's not the first time that he camouflaged Innova has been spied, but this time it was a close encounter with many of its exterior features and the car look like that it has been extended at the rear.
Though there aren't any out of the box changes on the car, but only a few subtle ones which give the hint of the new design of Toyota launched with the Corolla sedan recently. The extended rear definitely makes sure that the back seats will get more space than its predecessors for sure. Apart from that, there are LED DRLs, large and wide front grille with sleek headlights as well.
Talking about the mechanical terms, this Innova facelift will get a better and efficient engine with the automatic transmission as well. Thought the automatic version would only be available in diesel variant. The Toyota Innova has been on the top of MUV car segment in India and even after the launch of much appreciated Honda Mobilio too, Innova still holds the top place. The facelift would be arriving in India in early 2016 as per the speculations and would cost between INR 8-16 Lac Ex-Showroom.
