Nissan Introduced Special Evalia Edition to Boost Sales

The sales time for the automobiles is at all time high for the year as the festive season is on the roll and before the charm of this Diwali 2014 season fades away, Japanese automaker Nissan has tried to pull the things up by introducing the Special Edition variant of its Evalia MUV car. This new SV variant will pass the top-end XV (O) model in order to become the most premium in the lineup with the price of INR 11.60 Ex-Showroom. There are many additional exterior and interior features in this Evalia MPV, making it the most premium available from the Nissan in the market competing with the Honda Mobilio and Toyota Innova.

 

While launching the car, Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India said that “The Evalia is a completely new take on adaptable and multi-functional urban family car, Over the last two years, Evalia has evolved based on customer needs. We added prominent features like captain seats and sliding windows in the middle row and roof AC vents amongst others”. The other features of the car include new chrome front grille, 10-spoke alloy wheels, new front bumper and integrated fog lamps on the exteriors and rear wiper & defogger, in-dash 2-din audio, anti-glare internal view along with other features are available inside the cabin.

 

As far as the engine is concerned, the Evalia gets the trusted 1.5 Litre K9K diesel engine producing 85 bhp power and 200 Nm torque, offering 19 km/l mileage with 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. However, to stop the successful run of Honda Mobilio, the company has definitely need to take a few promotional steps as well.
