Nissan Maxima Displayed at the Auto China 2016

The Japanese automaker, Nissan has showcased the eighth generation Maxima at the Auto China 2016. Popular among all the buyers, the sedan has been built and sold by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture in China. To produce it as a next generation model, the carmaker has made come changes to its design as well as has updated some features also.

Dimensionally, it measures 4,908 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,436 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,755 mm that are more in comparison to the predecessor. There are a lot more features like LED headlamps, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, dual exhaust pipes, restyled bumper, etc at the exterior.

Some of the other attachments are featured at the interiors like leather sports seats along with heating facility, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with 11 speakers BOSE sound system, LED mood lighting and heated steering wheel.

Nissan has offered the car with three variants – 2.5 XE, 2.5 XL, and 2.5 X. Mechanically, all the versions will be powered by a QR25 2.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that generates 184 Bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 234 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. A 7-speed Xtronic transmission unit is mated to the engine, which is good to send the power at the front wheel.
