Nissan Micra X-Shift Gets Launched in India

Today, Nissan launched its updated version of Micra named as Micra X-Shift in Mumbai. This hatchback will be offered in the country as a limited edition model with just 750 units. Nissan has made certain changes to the Micra XL variant along with adding an automatic CVT system and named it as Micra X-Shift. Earlier, only the XV petrol model was equipped with the CVT facility. The model will be priced between the range of INR 6.39 Lacs to INR 6.67 Lacs (ex-showroom).

From outside the X-Shift features a matte black roof and chromed exhaust tips. There are black stripes on either side of the car that run along the length of the doors. The door sills get a chequered flag accent piece.

Nissan Micra X-Shift Exterior 

The cabin of this model carries a steering wheel which is derived from Micra's sedan model Sunny. The interior gets a black finishing in the portions like the audio console, armrests and door sills. There is also an infotainment system offered with AUX, Bluetooth and USB connectivity options. Regarding the safety, there are various features available with this model like four airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD). These features come standard in all the models.

 Nissan Micra X-Shift Interior

Coming to the powertrain, this hatchback carries a 1.23 litre, three-cylinder petrol unit. It is capable enough to produce a power of 77 PS and a torque of 104 Nm. The engine is clubbed to an automatic Continually Variable Transmission (CVT). The fuel efficiency provided by this model is measured to be 19.7 km/l. The newly launched Nissan Micra X-Shift will be competing with models like Honda Brio and Hyundai Grand i10.
