Okinawa, Indian electric-scooter manufacturer has officially launched its e- scooter, dubbed as ‘i-Praise’ in the Indian market. It has been priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) which is slightly higher than the standard Praise that was launched at Rs 71,460 ex-showroom.
Okinawa has offered a detachable lithium-ion battery on its i- Praise electric scooter which takes 2 to 3 hours to charge the scooter while contrasting it to the earlier time period of 6 to 8 hours of time from the lead-acid battery.
The electric scooter comes with a 2.9kWh battery which can be charged through 5A socket. The swappable battery pack option is also available but you have to pay an additional amount of Rs 70,000 to purchase this.
The users can download Okinawa Eco app in their smartphones to get the information about the electric scooter battery life, trip details, geo-fencing as a security aspect and service intervals.
