Paris Motor Show will Bring Out the Peugeot Quartz Concept

The Paris Motor Show will arrive with the collection of various staggering cars in which the Peugeot Quartz Concept is one of the spectacular crossover among of them. The tremendous styling of this vehicle will deliver the peep of the upcoming Peugeot 308. The style and design of the runabout is inspired by the 308 and Exalt concept as well. Based on the EMP2 platform the carriage includes the astonishing exterior with the huge air intakes, sharp edges, chiseled headlamps and the upright 3D grille. It has the length of 4,500 mm, which is longer than the Quashaqai.

Inside the cabin, there is a head-up display that will give the detail to the driver for the convenient driving and the indicator of the motor will control by the compact steering wheel. It has been constructed with the classic materials, such as leather, basalt and the composites. The Quartz gets the power from the plug-in hybrid powertrain alongside the 1.6 litre turbo engine and two electric motors, which are situated on each of the axles. The turbo engine as well as the electric motor sends the power of 266 bhp and 114 bhp, respectively to the front axle of the vehicle.

However, the rear axle receives the power of 114 bhp only from the motor. Totally, the crossover churns out the output of 494 bhp and at only one charge, the initiator can drive it around 30 miles on the way. The Peugeot Quartz is expected to compete against the Nissan Quashaqai with the official introduction at the most anticipated 2014 Paris Motor Show in the next month.
