The much awaited car Porsche Boxster Spyder 2016 has finally been launched ahead of New York Motor Show 2015. It has been developed to make it look completely different form the rest of the Boxster series and attempt to that, the ground clearance of the car is 20 mm lower, no AC or radio to reduce as much weight as company can, a hand removable soft top and others as well. The car will be available in the USA market by October and would be priced around US $ 82,000 or INR 49.2 Lac excluding the delivery charge of US $ 995. However, there hasn't been much features details leaked, but it might get same interiors as rest of the series.
Under the bonnet, it has a 3.8 Litre 6-Cylinder engine as Porsche Cayman GT4 and sourced by 911 Carrera . It generates 375 hp power and we got no information on torque, but it will hit the 96 km/h mark in mere 4.3 seconds before reaching its top speed of 290 km/h. It also has been mated to a 6-speed manual transmission system and that too exclusively.
