World famous Porsche Panamera has many admirers in India too and as the market is growing swiftly with luxury cars are at the best in regards with the sales. Now, to make its fleet even more exclusive and let the people have more options to buy Panamera, Porsche has launched 3 new editions with some feature changes in them. Out of the 3 editions, 2 will be powered by petrol engines namely Panamera Edition and Panamera 4 Edition and the 3rd one will be Panamera Diesel engine powered. There are upgrades on both sides of the car, that is in and out to make them look even more elegant. Although the major color used is black for the car to differentiate from the regular one.
The petrol and diesel model both will be powered by the same 6-Cylinder engine producing 310 bhp power and 300 bhp power respectively. Being the top of the class, Panamera 4 Edition will get electronically controlled all-wheel drive system, map-controlled multi-plate clutch transmission system, high-glossy black trim strips on the side windows, 19-inch alloy wheels, body color door handles and much more. Coming inside, the cars have bi-color leather upholstery, door sill plates with “Edition” lettering and special floor mates as well.
The reason of launching Panamera Editions could also be understood by its 2014 sales numbers, which were near to 25,000 and among them more than 9,000 were sold to China only. Well, let us wait and watch that how these new editions perform in the market.
