Adding to the lunch series of Boxter GTS, Cayman GTS and Cayenne GTS, Porsche has now confirmed that its Macan will be the next car to undergo some changes to hold the GTS badge as well. However, apart from the confirmation, none other information has surfaced yet. It was confirmed in the Volkswagen group's annual report and in the report, the new Porsche Boxter Spyder has also been confirmed as well. The production of Macan GTS will start soon and the car will be getting only subtle changes overall to make it look different from the regular Macan S and Macan Turbo variants. Although, it hasn't been decided yet that where this car would be placed, between Macan S and Turbo or above them.
If placed between the current models, then the GTS version might get a twin-turbocharged V6 engine that is good to produce 350 to 360 bhp power. And, if placed at the top of the range, then it could be producing more than 420 bhp power.
Talking about the changes, the company might place some color inserts inside the cabin to make it look different and some badges of GTS outside along with a few tweaks in mechanical suspension and braking system of the car, but rest is supposed to be remained same.
