The first official image of the Yamaha FJ-09 Tourer was added accidentally in the gallery of Yamaha NA press site that was quickly removed. The image of Yamaha FJ-09 doesn’t give the much information about the machine. As long as the company does not declare anything about the machine till that time, it is difficult to say anything about the motorcycle. Don't make expectations from the rumors; just wait for the EICMA show for the official announcement of the Yamaha's new FJ-09 Tourer motorcycle. Recently, the company was busy in introducing its 2015 models such as sport, off-road motorcycles and scooters.
It is expected that the forthcoming motorcycle of Yamaha will be based on the FZ-09 or MT-09 platform that uses a similar three-cylinder engine. The FJ-09 may be Yamaha's middleweight AVD-touring machine, as per the images, the naked motorcycle houses travel suspensions and touring components.

Let's take a round of FZ-09, which would be similar to the FJ-09, the recently added naked sport motorcycle is built around on a 847cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 115 BHP of power at 10,000 RPM and 87.5 Nm of torque at 8500 RPM. It comes mated to a six speed transmission. The motorcycle uses a telescopic fork at the front and swing arm suspension at the rear, which is standard in the motorcycle.
