The Jeep C-SUV or Project 551 (Codenamed) has been confirmed for the world premier at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show which will be held from November 18 to 27. Recently, the production-ready test mule has been spied on the Brazilian roads while doing some final stages of testing. However, the prototype is heavily camouflaged to reveal anything about the car’s exterior details.

There is buzz that the Jeep C-SUV will make its world debut at Sao Paulo Motor Show in early November this year, though, no official confirmation yet. However, the new Jeep will make its grand entry at this year’s LA show for sure.

The C-Jeep or Project 551 is based on the FCA’s (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Small Wide Platform that also underpins the small SUV, Renegade which was recently caught being tested some modular aspects of the platform on the Indian roads. The bigger Jeep-C will be slotted between the Grand Cherokee and the Renegade, and Brazil and India are the primary production houses for it. While India will be the manufacturing hub for the Asian and the European markets, Brazil will serve the North and South American markets.

As of now, no certain reports over the exterior and interior details of this global SUV, as it was always snapped disguising itself behind the stickers. However, the iconic boxy style, signature grille with vertical slots, projector headlamps with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and LED taillamps still can be observed.
