Range Rover Velar Launches In India At Rs. 78.83 Lakh

Land Rover launched the eagerly waited Range Rover Velar in India with the starting price of Rs. 78.83 lakh which goes up to Rs. 1.37 crore. In the Range Rover lineup, the new SUV fits between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. With the new additives, it looks somewhat like coupe looking at the roofline along with a very broad and sporty offer whereas still reveals the Range Rover design philosophy.

The new Range Rover SUV will be in the market with attractive three powertrains, which includes two diesel and one petrol engines. The diesel engine with 2.0-litre 4-cylinder options produces 177 bhp of maximum power while other more strong 3.0-litre V6 engine develops a maximum power of 296 bhp. Another variant with the petrol 2-litre specs is able to churn out a maximum power of 247 bhp.

The Range Rover Velar is in the market with the R-Dynamic and first edition variants whereas all other three powertrains come with the S, SE and HSE version options. The interior of the SUV is also enhanced with modern designs. It has two large touchscreens at the center; one is for infotainment system and another is for other functions like climate control.

The interior accommodates itself with two options whether the standard leather interior or the infinitely cooler microfiber interior package, the choice is yours. The Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and the Volvo XC90 are the rivals of the Range Rover Velar in India. Some resemblance like the Jaguar F-Pace, the Land Rover Discovery and Porsche Cayenne are noticeable in the new SUV.
