RE Himalayan Range To Get ABS

The Premium motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield, is working on two new engine platforms that would be launched in 2016. The upcoming motorcycles of Royal Enfield might get an advanced braking system named Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The decision of relocating the UK might bring some good news for Royal Enfield's enthusiasts. The firm has not revealed any information yet about its planning, but we expect that the firm will bless its upcoming products with an advanced Anti-lock Braking System. Moreover, the two upcoming motorcycles would be Himalayan Adventurer and Tourer that might be featured with Anti-lock Braking System.

Royal Enfield Classic 500

Talking about the Himalayan Motorcycle range, the motorcycles supposed to be powered by a single-cylinder motor, carrying an all new 410cc engine displacement. The motorcycles have been designed keeping in mind the requirement of riders. Apart from this, the motorcycle will be received a plenty of advanced features in order to produce dynamic ride quality such as standard anti-lock braking system, split-cum-steeped seat, fuel injected system and low-mounted handlebars.

The Chennai-based Eicher Group owned manufacturer, Royal Enfield, investing an amount of Rs. 500 crores to set-up two new technology centers, in terms to provide outstanding service and quality products. Moreover, as per the spy shots, the manufacturer has given an off-road touch to the RE Himalayan range which includes wire-spoke wheels, raised handlebar, rear mono-shock suspension and front tyre hugger.

Both the upcoming motorcycles will make it global debut in the two-wheeler market in 2016, carrying an approx price tag of INR 2.5-2.75 Lakhs. The Royal Enfield are reportedly in talks with the technology manufacturer.

"Royal Enfield is working on two new platforms and will be coming out with new products 2016 onwards that will have global appeal. As part of our R&D process, we keep exploring and working with various partners on design and technology. We can share more details as and when we are ready to announce our new products," said a company spokesperson.
