Renault Duster Getting Ready to Hit the Indian Ways with AT

According to the report of Motoring World, Renault India has been gearing up to give a tough competition to the newly launched Hyundai Creta via bringing the Duster compact SUV again, but with noteworthy modifications and upon its release, the main noticeable change will be available to be seen in the form of an automatic transmission. This updated version will get a very little aesthetic enhancement and some of its styling cues will be shared with the February 2014 launched Duster Adventure Edition. It will have front and rear silver skid plates, blacked out surrounded fog lights, smoked wheels and redesigned body cladding.

Notably, Renault will offer the Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC), a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox only on the 2WD version of this vehicle. Reportedly, rest of the mechanical features will be same as its ongoing model and just like the current one, this upcoming automatic variant will also be powered by a 1.6 litre K4M petrol and 1.5 litre dCi diesel engines. Both of theses engine trims produce the outputs of 102.53 bhp/148 Nm and 108.45 bhp/245 Nm, respectively.
