Renault Duster Receives A Price Drop Up To Rs. 1 Lakh

Renault Duster has introduced the 2018 model year Duster and the new SUV has now gained a good response in price cut from the base petrol variant to the top-loaded diesel all-wheel-drive system. The company accepts that the price cut is meant to increase the product sell. The Renault Duster is developed along with siblings, Datsun and Nissan at Renault’s Chennai facility. The price after reduction is applicable from March 1, 2018.

The models that gained the maximum price cut is the diesel AWD, which is available at approximately Rs 1 lakh lower price than the previous model. Premium models also receive the price cut. It seems that this move is in favor of the Captur. The Captur is a fully loaded vehicle available at between Rs. 9.99 lakh - 14.05 lakh. By offering price cut benefits, Renault appears to make the Rs 8-15 lakh price bracket where two variants are effectively priced.

Amazingly, with this price cut, the Duster petrol automatic takes the place of the most economically priced compact SUV. The price of the SUV is placed in order to compete with the entry-level Ford EcoSport petrol AT available at Rs. 9.55 lakh. The Hyundai Creta petrol AT variant is available in the market with a price tag of Rs. 13.03 lakh.
