Renault Duster Xtronic CVT Start Reaching Dealerships, Expected to Launch Soon

The French carmaker, Renault is all geared to launch the Xtronic CVT variant of the volume-fetcher Duster model in India. Further in time, it will be available to purchase in three transmissions options including ongoing 6-speed manual and 6-speed R-EASY AMT gearbox, and the upcoming Xtronic CVT is expected to this month. While, the surfaced images of imminent 2017 automatic Renault Duster at the dealership yard are also confirming its launch soon by this month end.

Under the hood, the new 1.5-litre Petropowered engine that has electronically been adjusted to pump out an astonishing power of 106PS at 5600rpm along with 142Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. The new petrol engine with CVT is expected to return fuel economy of 14.99km/l. While transmission is a CVT with a 6-Step Manual mode. The gear modes of the X-tronic CVT are as follows- Parking(P), Reverse(R), Neutral(N) and Drive(D).

On the exterior front, the Duster petrol will sustain the same aggressive front embellished with squarish headlamps and glossy twin slat front grille, while at side profile it flaunts 16-inch gunmetal alloy wheels and X-tronic decals at the rear as well.

While inside the cabin, you will find attachments such as a 7-inch touchscreen, red contrast stitching on the seats, silver accents wrapping around the central console as chrome surrounds around the dials in the instrument cluster. An Eco mode has also been added to increase the performance of the SUV.

In terms of pricing, it is likely to be in the price range of INR 10.40 lakh at which it will go in competition with the available contenders like Honda BR-V CVT, Hyundai Creta petrol SX Auto, and Ford Ecosport 1.5 AT. All the prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
