Back in February 2014 at the Delhi Auto Expo, where Renault launched its Duster Adventure in top model with 109 BHP variant and few unique feature to transform the image of the Duster into a sporty and rough SUV didn't pay off well. Now, company has played the very same trick again, but this time a little intelligently by making it available in lower specs version of 85 PS model.
This new lighter version of the Renault Duster Adventure has not only received the change in the power, but in exterior and interior features too. In the engine department, the new Renault Duster 85 PS Adventure has 1.5 litre four-cylinder diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission which produces 84 BHP power and 200 NM torque with front wheel drive. On the features front, the New Renault Duster Adventure has got blackened headlights, new bumper guard, integrated fog lamps, plastic cladding on sides, wing mirrors, door handles in white and grey gun-metal alloy wheels.
However despite publicizing the new Renault Duster Adventure as a sports SUV, the makers hasn't provided the 4 wheel drive in it, which I guess is necessary for the success of Duster Adventure 85 PS as a mighty beast. Also, the overall look too needs some changes like better body material, strong dash-board, some more styling and decorative lighting as well.
Still, the effort is appreciable by the company as it has done well while surviving in the market with some of its high-end cars among which Duster Adventure is one of the vehicles for sure.
