After a long waiting time, the French automaker has finally launched the Renault Lodgy MPV today in India at the starting price of INR 8.19 Lacs. Alongside the length of 4,498 mm, width of 1,751 mm, height of 1,697 mm and a wheelbase of 2,810 mm, this model includes a McPherson strut at the front, while a torsion beam suspension at the rear. Its top end variant has been introduced with a stunning 15 inch alloy wheels that render glamor aspects for the customers.
Inside, it gets 7 as well as 8 seating configurations and the 7 seater variant offers comfortable chairs, airplane like foldable trays, optional leather seats, a touchscreen Media NAV system and AC vents for the last two rows. Awesome safety features are available in the RxZ variant alongside ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and reverse parking sensors with a rear view camera.
Just like the Duster, a 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel engine has been included beneath the skin of this MPV, which is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission in its base variant and produces power of 85 PS as well as torque of 200 Nm. However, in the top end variant, the same engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, while churns out power of 110 PS and torque of 245 Nm. Both of these trims are capable to bestow superb fuel efficiency of 21.04 km/l and 19.98 km/l, respectively.
