India's global auto luxury brand Jaguar and Land Rover has finally revealed the Land Rover Discover 2015 model for the market and the deliveries are supposed to start around the month of November-December in India and from September in United Kingdom. The 2015 Land Rover Discovery variant is basically a more feature laden version of the Land Rover XXV Special edition, but cosmetically, it is the very close cousin.
The new Discovery 2015 model has the features like satellite navigation, media streaming, cruise control, front fog lamps, automatic headlamps, xenon headlamps with LED DRL, lacquer wood and leather wrapped steering wheel and others as well. The infotainment system has also been revived to make it compatible with Apple's iDevice and for synchronization with your mobile to get the access of contacts, calendar and play music. The new car has been launched in the two new base variant as well to boost up the sales till the new series of Land Rover comes into the picture sometime next year.
The engine of this new 2015 Land Rover Discovery model will be a 3.0 Litre Diesel power train and will produce the 245 bhp of power and 600 Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual gearbox transmitting power to all the 4 wheels. This 7-seater SUV from the company will have the price of around INR 42 Lac and with this price, the car will surely stiff the competition in the already brutal market, for the likes of Toyota Land Cruiser, BMW X6 and upcoming SsangYong Rexton.
