Royal Enfield Launches Redditch Classic 350 Variants, Bookings to Start on January 7

The premium retro bike manufacturer in the Indian motoring ground, Royal Enfield brought an update to its most promising flagship, Classic 350 as a new year present for the RE lovers. The auto major has launched a new Redditch series variants, in three new vibrating colors. The new addition comprises Redditch Red, Redditch Green, and Redditch Blue, which draws inspiration from the Royal Enfield motorcycles of 50’s and constructed at Redditch, UK facility, the birthplace of Royal Enfield.

This latest Range of Classic 350 Redditch has already been reached to dealerships in various metro cities, while the remaining will witness its availability as soon as possible. As the motorcycle has been launched and the bookings will be started from January 7, whereas the deliveries are also likely to take place sometime late in this same January month.

Looking back into our decades-old legacy, we have given Classic a makeover taking cues from the motorcycles produced at Redditch, Royal Enfield's birthplace UK. The introduction of the Redditch series on Classic 350 is a reinforcement of the Classic franchise and its huge success across all our markets," said Rudratej Singh, President, Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield Redditch Monogram

Back in time, near about pre-World War era in the 50’s, Royal Enfield was manufactured motorcycles at Redditch facility, established in a small town near Birmingham city in the United Kingdom. Whereas, a few years ago in 2008, the Royal Enfield Classic has made its debut to pay an homage to the retro styling of the British motorcycles in the post-World War II era. That time, the Classic took the place on the lines of the original J2 model. Besides this, new Redditch color variants, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 will also be adorned with the Redditch monogram, firstly applied in 1939 on a two stroke, 125cc prototype of the ‘Royal Baby’ motorcycle.

Now if moves towards the mandate hardware unit to propel this popular retro motorcycle, the RE Classic 350 will continue to have the same 350cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. As the company claims, a healthy mill is adequate to generate 19 bhp of power and deliver 28Nm of torque with the sport of armed five-speed manual transmission. On sales record, continuously managing to attain average monthly sales of over 55,000 units, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is undoubtedly the largest selling motorcycle of the giant motorcycle manufacturer. Here is the on-road prices of the RE Classic Redditch 350 variants in several cities are Rs 1,57,577 in Mumbai, Rs 1,47,831 in Chennai, Rs 1,55,456 in Bengaluru and Rs 1,49,340 in Hyderabad.
