Sao Paulo Auto Show 2016: Renault Duster Extreme Concept Displayed

More muscular by the looks and bold by hooks, Renault has introduced the off-road version of its much-acclaimed SUV, the Duster at Sao Paulo Auto Show 2016 in Brazil. On the Extreme version power is transmitted to all four wheels which further enhances the off-road capabilities of the SUV. The Extreme Concept features both cosmetic and under-hood updates.

The highlighted exterior details of the displayed concept include a new grey paint scheme with red accent, the increased ground clearance, redesigned bumper, larger center locking wheels painted in black with off-road tyres instead of the regular, tow hooks, roof-mounted LED lamp bar, and a bulky roof track.
On the inside, the noteworthy updates include the red colour inserts around the cabin, engraved ‘Extreme’ badge on the dashboard and 4WD lettering on the lower spoke of the steering.

The showcased Extreme concept is based on the Brazilian-spec Duster SUV which uses a 143hp 2.0-litre engine offered in both petrol and ethanol powertrains and sends the power to all wheels via a manual transmission.
