Second Generation Audi Q7 launched in India, Prices and Details Inside

The German sports car maker, Audi, has officially launched new second generation SUV in its most concerning series, named as Audi Q7. It’s no wonder that this series has always been the first choice of the younger in the country and globally as well. The cost for the new Audi Q7 starts from Rupees 72,00,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the premium Plus variant and Rupees 77,50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the fully-loaded Technology variant. It will be arriving in the country via Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.

The new SUV comes loaded with a bunch of luxurious features that will make it the most concerning car in the segment among all its competitors. Moreover, the car is available in the country in single motor option as it comes powered with a 3.0-liter TDI Diesel motor that procreates 245.40 HP of power and 600 Nm of peak torque, the motor is paired with an 8 speed dual clutch Tiptronic automatic transmission. All the power sent to the four wheels using Audi’s Quattro AWD system along with a Self-locking center differential.

The second generation has been constructed on Q7 based aluminum intensive modular platform and have paid a lot of attention to give it a sleek look. It weighs 325 KG, which is lighter than its previous model. The new Q7 is slightly shorter and narrower than its predecessor at 5,050mm long, 1,970mm wide and 1,740mm tall, along with a 2,990mm wheelbase.

For the exterior eyesight, the new Audi Q7 SUV has received all-new revised hexagonal single-frame chrome grille along with newly designed headlamps, which is available in three options – Xenon, LEDs and matrix LED lamps. The new arrow-shaped DRLs incorporated with turn signals and a redesigned body colored front & rear bumpers make it more striking than before.

Moreover, interior features detailing the all new elements that are latest MMI infotainment system navigated through MMI Touch, Audi sound system, Audi music interface with two USB ports, a Bluetooth interface and a 12.3-inch 1440×540 pixel Audi Virtual Cockpit screen.
