Ltd. is one of the largest automobile manufacturers all across the world. Vespa is well-known for producing the retro styled scooters, globally. Currently, India is having three models of these retro styled scooters. And, the fourth one is on its way.

The company is readying to showcase the Vespa Elegante in India by tomorrow. The firm was previously planning to launch Elegante by the end of the year, 2014, but now they will be coming up soon ahead of the festive season. The Italian designed scooters developed by Vespa, are pretty much appreciated by the Indian youth crowd.

The Vespa Elegante is completely inspired from the Vespa VX. Talking about the technical features, the forthcoming scooter is powered by the same air-cooled engine with an engine displacement of 125cc. It impresses out a total power of 9.85 BHP and 10.06 Nm of torque. The 3-Valve, 4-stroke engine is coupled to a CVT. The suspension of the scooter is catered by a front trailing arm setup and a single-sided coil spring at the rear. On the safety front, the scooter will be featuring front disc brakes and rear drum brake.

Cosmetically, it seems that the Elegante borrowed its outer appearance from the Primavera scooter, such as spilt seat, wheels and the rear and front apron. It can also be said that the upcoming scooter is complemented over the VX. The split seat is colored with Beige and the body gets Crete Senesi Brown color. Moving towards the pricing section, the Elegante is priced at Rs 79,000 (Ex-Showroom Price).
