Six Peugeot Scooters Entered Mahindra Mumbai Headquarter

As we know that the Mahindra Two-Wheelers has recently acquired 51% stake of the French automobile manufacturer, Peugeot Motorcycles. Now, the French based scooter manufacturer has entered India with the help of Mahindra two-Wheelers. In the coming time, the Peugeot Motorcycles will be selling its various products in the country. Regarding the launch of the scooters, both the firms are buttoned up. Well, let's have an eye over the technical specifications of the scooters manufactured by Peugeot Motorcycles, who have entered the Indian boundaries.

Metropolis 400:- The Metropolis 400 is a three-wheeled scooter designed by the Peugeot Motorcycles. The styling and designing of the scooter is pretty much inspired by the touring motorcycles. The three-wheeled scooter is equipped with enhanced technology and various additional equipments such as keyless ignition, parking brake, etc. The Metropolis 400 gets its power from a 4-stroke engine carrying an engine displacement of 400cc. The liquid-cooled engine is capable to generate a maximum power of 37BHP.

Satelis 125:- The Satelis 125 can be said as the little brother of the Metropolis 400. Although, it is a two-wheeled scooter, which is featuring a four-stroke, single-cylinder configuration carrying an engine displacement of 278cc. The liquid-cooled engine is tuned to belt out a churning power of 21 BHP. The stopping power has been taken care by disc brakes at both the ends along with ABS.

Moving towards the remaining scooters, the Citystar 125, Speedfight 3 and Django Sport are also in the row. All these scooters are featuring the very same 125cc engine displacement, but in a re-tuned version. The Citystar 125 is equipped with 125cc liquid-cooled engine delivering 14.8 BHP. The Speedfight 3 is also powered with the 125cc displaced engine producing 10BHP of maximum power. And, the retro-styled Django Sport gets its power from the 125cc air-cooled engine, which could remind you of the Vespa brand models.

The Streetzone offered by the Peugeot Motorcycles seems to take its inspiration from the motocross motorcycles. It has carried rugged looks and is powered by a 50cc air-cooled motor. The engine is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 4 BHP.
