Skoda will launch 19 new or facelifted models by 2020 and one of those is Skoda Superb Plug-in Hybrid. The 10 electrified models from Skoda will be launched between 2019 and 2025 and the first is Skoda Superb Plug-in Hybrid which will launch in mid-2019.
This is the facelift of Skoda Superb launched in 2015 and will get an update in rounded lower corners of new radiator grille which has the similarity with the existing one in appearance and in black vertically positioned slats. With the pruning of extra portion on the sides, now it gets more space concerning fog lamp housing. Further, the headlamp washers are placed inwardly now and an addition of full-LED headlights look more attracting. Other appearance modifications include new rear bumper, new tail lamp graphics, and new alloy wheels.

The existing Skoda Superb is powered by a 1.6L TDI and 2.0L TDI engines and 1.4L TSI, 1.8L TSI and 2.0L TSI petrol engines, although there is no confirmation about revision in an engine of Skoda. But, the Skoda is expected to replace it with a 215 bhp plug-in hybrid powertrain taking a 154 bhp (156 PS) 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine and an 85 kW (115 PS) electric engine. The Skoda Superb Plug-in Hybrid is expected to take a 13 kWh battery and offer 0 miles (64.37 km) of zero-emissions in terms of driving range. It will first launch in China and then Europe will get it.
