Snoop: KTM RC200 Caught testing again

KTM, the well-known Sports bike manufacturer, is planning to launch its RC series of motorcycles. The company is continuing to test the series of RC motorcycles in a regular manner on Indian roads. Recently, in a few months, we have spotted the upcoming KTM RC200 while its testing. The RC200 has been spied at various places but especially near Pune, as the company's manufacturing plant is located near the city. According to a report, Bajaj has manufactured around 20 units of RC200 in the Chakan plant and all these bikes have made their way towards their home ground, Austria.

Although, the manufacturer hasn't spoken a word about the official launch of this upcoming bike in India. If we conclude from all the rumors, which we have been receiving from other sources too, we are getting these intuitions that the company is planning to launch RC200 nearly in the month of September, 2014. Apart from that, KTM is also preparing to introduce some of the models of the Duke Series in India. The KTM 690 Duke and 1290 Super Duke R, both the models from Duke Series are being scheduled for the official launch in the month of March, 2015.

The KTM RC200 has a power plant of a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which gives an engine displacement of 200cc. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and is capable to generate 25 BHP of power. The braking system is designed with ABS technology, which comes along as standard. The RC200 seems to be pricier than the Duke 200. As, the company is planning to launch its upcoming RC390 in the month of September, 2014, the chances are getting higher and higher, that the RC200 will also make its debut with RC390.
