Supra is Back! 2018 Toyota Supra Brochure Leaked Online

The all new upcoming two-door sports car, allegedly named 2018 Toyota Supra has been surfaced online through a leaked brochure image. Since the news of legendary Supra comeback was around for a while, the leaked image or said to be the brochure has finally shown how the production unit of the car would look like.

If the so-called brochure is leaked through Toyota officials, then it's surely a comeback of much-anticipated Supra. The image not just gives design cues, though reveals technical specs and measurement details. Moreover, the upcoming Supra will boast of the Gazoo Racing badge.

The slightly revealed portion from front fascia of the car hints towards its styling details which are likely to be meet with carmaker’s Sporty F1 concept, another big blown from Toyota.

On the dimension front, the leaked information says that the sportscar will be 4,380mm long, 1,830mm wide and 1,280mm tall. The two-door Supra has a wheelbase of 2,470mm and weighs between 1,350 - 1,430kg.

The mechanical details of the 2018 Toyota Supra have also been revealed in the image. The base variant of the performance-oriented car will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol mill which is capable of delivering the maximum power of 194 hp in combination with a peak torque of 320 Nm of torque. While an another powertrain is also going to be offered with the slight higher outputs, 256 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque.

The most powerful version of the 2018 Supra will be fitted with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine that churns out immense power of 344 hp along with the massive torque of 450 Nm.

According to some sources, the powerhouses of the sportscar are borrowed from BMW, as the results of range-topping Supra variant are close to that of BMW 340i. Apart from power mills, the next generation Supra will also be underpinned by the BMW-developed platform which will also be seen on the upcoming BMW Z5.

The carmaker is expected to display its new Toyota Supra in near-production avatar at the Tokyo Motor Show in October this year, while the car is likely to be available for sale from the beginning of 2018.
