Suzuki Burgman Street to Launch in April, Rival Honda Grazia in Segment

Suzuki is planning to introduce its maxi-styled scooter the Burgman Street in India. As per the reports, the company is all set to launch the scooter in mid-April. It is expected to price at INR 75,000 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The scooter was showcased along with the fuel-injected Intruder 150 and the Suzuki GSX-S750.

Suzuki Burgman is an all-new 125cc scooter that will re-introduce the maxi-scooter in the country. Earlier this segment was catered by the Kinetic Blaze 165 that had been eliminated by the company further. Burgman Street 125 will hit the market in coming months. The scooter gets a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC engine that expels 10bhp of peak power. The similar powertrain is also performing propelling duties on the available range of 125cc Suzuki scooters.

In the 125cc segment, the Burgman Street will go in competition with the likes of Honda Grazia 125. Honda Grazia is powered by the similar 125cc engine unit that works in the Activa. The engine generates the maximum power of 6.35kW along with the peak torque of 10.54Nm. In terms of features, the company offers alloy wheels, front disc brake with CBS, telescopic front forks and dual tone paint scheme. In addition to this, the company is also offering an all-new digital instrument console with digital display.
