Suzuki Gixxer 250 Rendered, Launch Soon

The Japanese two-wheeler maker, Suzuki, is working on a new engine and platform that will make it global arrival in the upcoming year. It is expected that the new 250cc motorcycle will be based on the Gixxer and SF models, that have just been launched in the country. As per the images, which has been released by Young Magazine (Japan), the GSX-R250 looks very identical with its SF model, in terms of design that might be named as Suzuki Gixxer 250 for the India. There are not any official information about the upcoming motorcycles, but have to wait for any further official announcement of the firm about the models.

Suzuki Gixxer Naked

The motorcycle borrows the design and body cues from the faired version of Gixxer. As per the render images, the GSX-R250 is featured with an aerodynamic fairing and LED headlamps, which looks more appealing than the current Gixxer SF. The motorcycle sports a windshield, massive fuel tank and low mounted clip-on handlebars, whereas the GSX-1000R also features with same styling approach.

Suzuki Gixxer Fully-faired

The motorcycle will be powered by the 250cc engine displacement that will likely to be produced 25-28 PS of power, but to keeping the price factor, the manufacturer might use a single-cylinder motor in India. The motor will be developed in the country under the guidance of Suzuki's engineers. The 250cc motor will compete against the Hyosung GD250, CBR 250R and KTM Duke/RC 200. Furthermore, the quarter-liter motorcycle employs a front telescopic suspension and rear monoshock absorber.
