Suzuki GSX S1000 and S1000F Found on Official Website, Launch Soon

Suzuki Motorcycles India is eagerly planning to expand its Indian Superbike line-up, as it has scheduled various launches every now and then. Currently, the Japanese two-wheeler giant is offering a wide range of Superbikes for the Indian motorcycle freaks. The offering includes Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ABS, GSX-R1000 ABS, Hayabusa and Hayabusa Z, Bandit 1250 SA, Intruder M800, Intruder M1800R and Intruder M1800R BOSS Edition. Although, these are the major offerings in the Superbike segment and the firm will be going to add two more newly introduced beast in the Indian product portfolio; the Suzuki GSX-S1000 and Suzuki GSX-S1000F.

Suzuki GSX-S1000

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 siblings were first unveiled at the INTERMOT, 2014. The INTERMOT was being held in the first week of October, 2014 in Cologne, Germany. Both the Standard Superbikes are expected to be officially launched in the coming month; June, 2015. Sharing the identical powertrain, the only thing which sets them apart is the cosmetic makeover acquired by both of the motorcycles. The Suzuki GSX-S1000F is a fully-faired sports motorcycle, whereas the Suzuki GSX-S1000 flaunts its gorgeous curves and cues with its naked beauty. Carrying similar aggression, both the sports motorcycles are featuring mismatched headlamps.

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F get powered with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC engine. The 999cc displaced engine is incorporated with a 4-cylinder motor configuration, which is further mated to a 6-speed Constant Mesh transmission. The 999cc displaced engine is tuned to generate a quite impressive churning power of 145 BHP @ 9500 RPM.

Being a standard sports motorcycle, the manufacturer has installed various leading technological components for betterment riding quality. The Inverted Telescopic front forks and link type rear coil spring are on the duty to handle riding quality. The stopping power has been taken care by twin disc brakes and the front and single disc brake at the rear; accompanied with ABS as standard.

The price tag of both the upcoming Sports motorcycles is not yet disclosed by the manufacturer, but it is highly anticipated that duo would carry a hefty price tag.
