Suzuki GSX-S1000 and S1000F Landed Over Indian Ground, Prices inside

The top liter-class Super sports motorcycles have finally made their special appearance over the Indian tarmac. Few days back, the Suzuki Motorcycles have updated their official website showcasing the newly launched liter-class engined motorcycles; Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F. The Suzuki Motorcycles India Private Limited has now launched the liter-class siblings carrying a hefty price tag. The Suzuki GSX-S1000, a naked super sports motorcycle is available at a price of Rs 12.25 Lacs and the Suzuki GSX-S1000F, a fully-faired Super sports motorcycle has carried a price tag of Rs 12.70 Lacs. The above mentioned prices are of Ex-Showroom Delhi.

Suzuki GSX-S1000

Mechanically, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F are powered by the inherited liter-class engine taken from the GSX-R1000. Both of these Super sports motorcycles are featuring a liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. Accompanied by the in-line, four-cylinder motor configuration, it gets an engine displacement of 999cc, which throws out a churning power of 144 BHP and 105 Nm of peak torque; while paired with a 6-speed transmission. The Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F are designed around a lightweight chassis. The riding quality is provided by Inverted Telescopic front forks and Link-type coil-spring at the rear.

The braking duties have been taken care by twin-disc at the front and single-disc at the rear, ABS offered as standard. The firm has installed switchable 3-mode Traction Control System and a multi-informational digital instrument cluster. Carrying 17 liters of fuel tank capacity, the Suzuki GSX-S1000 weighs 209 kg and the GSX-S1000F weighs 214 kg. Both the Super sports motorcycles have their first debut at the INTERMOT motorcycle show, which took place in the month of October, 2014 in Cologne, Germany.

Initially, the firm is offering two paint schemes for both the Super sports motorcycles; Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue. Bookings for the very same might get commenced anytime soon.
