Suzuki GSX-S750 Launched, Pricing INR 7.45 lakhs

Suzuki has introduced the GSX-S750 in Indian lineup at the asking rate of INR 7.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is a performance-focused naked streetfighter that shares design cues from its elder sibling the GSX-S1000.

With the fitments such as sharp headlamp unit, chiselled fuel tank, edgy tank extensions and radiator shrouds along with the narrow rear, the motorcycle seems aggressive in nature. Whereas, for essential readout, the company offers an all-digital instrument cluster. Powering for the GSX-S750 comes from a 749cc inline-four engine. Mated to a six-speed gearbox transmission, the engine is capable of producing the peak power of 113bhp and 81Nm of torque.

The prominent cycle parts on the Suzuki GSX-S750 consists of a 41mm KYB inverted front forks and a rear monoshock as a suspension setup. Whereas, the braking duties are handled by twin discs up front and a single disc at the rear armed with Nissin callipers. The provided electronic aids comprise a three-level traction control system and ABS for better control of the naked beast.

Brought to the country via a CKD route, post the 2018 Hayabusa, the GSX-S750 will be the second motorcycle to be assembled locally at the brand’s Gurugram based facility. The bike’s local assembly made the manufacturer rolling it out at an aggressive price sticker that will pose a fierce competition against the rivals in the segment such as the Triumph Street Triple S, Ducati Monster 797 and the Kawasaki Z900.

Besides, in the inline-four engine segment, it also rubs its shoulders with more accessible Honda CBR650F that is available on sale at INR 7.31 lakhs (ex-showroom).
