Suzuki India has launched the refreshed version of Hayate to target the audience at the festive season. The price of updated model is Rs. 59,523 (On Road Mumbai) and Rs. 54,601 (On road Delhi), which is more than its outgoing model. The Hayate was launched last year in the country. Moreover, the new commuter motorcycle comes featured with a some cosmetic updates that includes new body graphics and body colored side panels. The mechanical updates on the new Hayate is a maintenance free battery, tubeless tyres and five step adjustable rear shock absorber. Thus, the five color options give more option to the buyers. The new version looks more appealing and fresh then its outgoing version.
The company has not made any changes in its powertrain, such as the new Hayate is continuing with the same 112.8cc single-cylinder and air-cooled motor that returns 8.3 BHP of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a four speed transmission. The lightweight handlebar and single unit seat provide a comfortable riding position to the rider. Furthermore, the manufacture did not blessed it with a front disc brake as even in option, as the new Hayate is featured with front and rear drum brake. The updated suspension will provide dynamic balancing and enhance riding quality.
The new Hayate is available in five stunning color options – Glass Sparkle Black- Red Graphic, Glass Sparkle Black- Blue Graphic, Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Mira Red-Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Moon Stone Grey.
